WILD WEST JIU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the sport of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. WWJJC is the fastest growing event in Tucson, Arizona.<\/p>\n
This Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition will offer Kids, Juveniles, Adult (Male and Female), and Masters Divisions in the for all belt levels.<\/p>\n

The Adult & Master Brown Belt Absolute prize depends on the number of competitors.<\/p>\n
For 2 to 4 competitors, first place takes $300.<\/p>\n

There is only one opportunity to check weight. If the competitor does not make weight, he\/she\u00a0will be immediately disqualified. In the case the athlete does not make weight on Friday he\/she will not be able to weigh in on Saturday. Make sure that you are in the correct weight division. No changes will be accepted after the deadline and no fees will be refunded. For example, 5-6 years division will only allow 6 years old or less. If the competitor turns 7 the day of the event, he\/she will not be eligible for this age group.<\/p>\n Kids 10 years old or younger will compete male and female together, if necessary. All Kid’s divisions with a bracket of three or more kids where for any reason that bracket ends up with only two kids, the two kids will be fighting each other for the best of three matches<\/p>\n IJV PROMOTIONS reserves the right to combine weight classes to create competitive weight divisions with sufficient competitors.<\/b><\/p>\n The support of the transgender community is an important aspect of fostering inclusivity and equality. It is important to approach this issue with sensitivity, openness, and ongoing dialogue to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their gender identity, have equal opportunities to participate in sports while upholding the principles of fair competition.<\/p>\n THE ATHLETE’S REGISTRATION FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SPECTATOR’S FEE.\u00a0Everyone must pay the entry fee with\u00a0NO EXCEPTIONS.\u00a0<\/p>\n (Children under 6 are Free)<\/p>\n Medals will be awarded to the 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place of each division.<\/p>\n The top 3 academies will receive team trophies.<\/p>\n Athletes who place in 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their division will receive a medal at the event. All competitors must wear the GI on the podium. All the medals must be picked up at the event\u2019s podium. IJV PROMOTIONS is not responsible for shipping medals.<\/p>\n If your team has more than 2 athletes in the same division, the professor needs to email\u00a0wildwestjiujitsu@gmail.com\u00a0prior to athlete correction deadline in order to create different teams for the same academy. This rule does not prevent you from registering for the event.<\/p>\n IJV PROMOTIONS reserves the right to close registration when we reach full capacity, or on the day of the appointed event registration deadline, whichever comes first.<\/p>\n Before each fight, athletes will be asked to show their valid form of photo identification (ID) to the officials(Adults only). Make sure you have it on hand<\/p>\n It is the responsibility of the athlete to be knowledgeable of the rules and guidelines pertaining to the sport. From this date to the deadline, there will be no refunds or future credits issued. ALL COMPETITORS ARE SUBJECT TO BE COMBINED WITH A DIFFERENT DIVISION AFTER THIS PERIOD (if necessary, only).<\/p>\n We cannot guarantee the athletes will show up for the tournament. Therefore, WWJJC will not refund athletes who end up without a match due to a non-show for his \/ her opponent.<\/p>\n Any coach\/parent that does not follow any article of this code, in or outside of the premises, will be asked to leave and will be prevented from joining their athlete(s) inside the competition area during the event.
